If you are like me, you sat in horror as the tragic scenes played on the screen last night from the city of Ferguson.
Some things we can clearly see were wrong.
Some things are deeply hidden.
And the world is starting to weigh in with opinions and interviews.
What can we do?
In all the banners that went across the screen last night, this one jumped out at me. I believe it was from the family of Michael Brown. “Don’t make noise, make a difference.”
I think that is good advice for us as we head out into the inevitable barrage of statements, debates and editorials.
The only way we will make a difference, as Christians, is to seek the wisdom and counsel of God.
May our voices be raised in prayer for healing and restoration in the city of Ferguson and for truth, justice, and revival in this nation.
