A few Randoms from life lately <3

May is loading us up with opportunities to cheer our favorite people on.

Saturday was a plethora of sporting events mixed into Caroline’s dance recital with two performances of Snow White. Russ did what he does and ordered the cutest themed bouquet.

Those are not real apples, and they are thankfully not poisoned…but cute as could be.

Here are some shots from the festivities:

Random #1

Our girl did a fantastic job as did the whole company of dancers. Instead of a standard recital, her study puts on an actual show and it never fails to be fantastic. She had practiced all season with a partner, but her partner was sick and couldn’t attend. She carried it off like a champ.

It was fun to see her in several dances throughout the show and watch her interact with the other girls in the recital. She got attached to the seniors this year and there was some grieving as she danced the last dance with them.

We had to catch our breath to see how tall she has gotten.

Random #2

As always, the brothers were expected to put on those painfully uncomfortable semi-dress slacks and attend the recital.

We had to split up tickets around their athletic events and had some time before the 11:00 show with these two to nab breakfast and play some cards.

Joel’s side eye of Emmett may indicate the competitive nature of the game.

Random #3

We have also been enjoying watch this one play JV and Varsity baseball.

The weather has been anything but nice; however the cold and winds do not dampen our enthusiasm to watch him on the field.

And speaking of growing…yipes….

Random #4

And then there is his mini-me.

This one had a game after the recital and watching him pull together all the parts of his gear was nothing short of a work of art. He loves every part of the game and is in his element for sure.

We have a lot of summer ball ahead, and we are reaaaadddddyyyyyy!!!

Random #5

A friend suggested bringing a few of these beauties in to enjoy.

Very wise.

We have loved watching the blooms unfold and the rains last night wreaked havoc on the mother plant outside.

A few more days and these will be a memory too.

The beauty of flowers lies in their delicate and temporal nature.

How like us.

Have a blessed day.

Look for the randoms that bring a smile <3
