A quick hello and a see ya later to end the week <3

Just stopping by for a quick hello and to let you know I am taking a wee bit of a break next week to celebrate Spring. 

I will miss checking in with you and hopefully will have some fun adventures to share when I return to this space towards the following week. 

As I type, I can see how green our grass is and there are tulips poking up out of the ground.

The Jane Magnolias have gained buds on the tip of each branch. And already there are weeds sprouting up in places that should just look like rocks and dirt. Over the winter, the cold or a critter snapped some lines on the lights that adorn our patio. 

There is trimming, raking and cleaning up to do in the various landscaping and gardens around the house. The return of direct sunlight reveals neglected windows that need a good refreshing. 

Work lies ahead as we shake off the dormancy of winter, but for now we are going to take a break from the daily routines and do a bit of traveling.
