Happy Friday <3

Happy Friday!

We are in the crazy, dizzy days of May.

Last night we attended a middle school music program for Emmett and next Monday we will be attending on for Sarah. All the sports have started or are continuing and if we aren’t having a game, we are practicing for one. 

School is wrapping up for me and for the little ones which means projects, tests and reports. 

And a lot of worries on my end that I did enough to attempt to teach the kids that were placed in my care in the fall. 

In a study Russ and I are working on for church, one day we read about surrender. It talked about how we have to lay things down and just trust God. 

It is a dance, isn’t it? This laying things down and yet not shirking our part of the work. 

I don’t know any other way then to just stay in constant communication with God and keep talking and listening, moving and stopping, doing and waiting. This walking by faith thing is a commitment. 

But I don’t want to do the journey any other way.
