And the final amen on the week came out of the blue all the way in Texas <3
I didn’t post on Monday because we were traveling. The day started very early…4:30 AM wakeup with a ride to the airport at 5. We flew to St. Louis, picked up a car and made our way home where we took care of the neglected yard and house.
Our trip over the weekend was to help John move to a different location in Austin. He had friends to help with carrying the heavy stuff. Russ ran shuttle with a rented truck and I cleaned. And cleaned…and cleaned.
When I went to bed Saturday night, I was that kind of tired where you feel sick. I slept harder than I have slept in ages and woke up feeling alive again.
We met up with John to attend his church and it was a beautiful service and good sermon. They do sing a lot in this church and I was growing just a tad weary by the end of the hour and a half service when this song came on the screen…
This one is familiar to me from our own church services, but the words were so poignant coming on the heels of the week of Commemoration. I felt a personal “I love you…I see you…I know you” from God as we sang this closing hymn.
Truly I have witnessed His faithfulness and it was lovely to sing it again and again this past week with you <3
Blessings friends.
You are dearly loved.
