Aaaaaannnnndddd….it’s crunch time…<3

We are to that point…

where we are chucking things in boxes…

and wondering if and when we will ever see them again.

The movers come tomorrow for the big furniture and then we will be left with all the funky miscellaneous stuff that is stacked in corners or on the fireplace.

I laugh when people ask if I am ready for Christmas.

Easily.

No decorations…

two presents to wrap per person…

and our stockings this year will be gift bags…

which the talented ladies at Giggles made extra special for three VIP’s on Christmas Eve…

I hear they are canceling schools tomorrow in the area …

I would imagine there are  some homes where kiddo’s are staying up a little later tonight and mom’s might be panicking a bit since their errands and prep days just got cut back by one.

Oh I hope you all can stay in your PJ’s tomorrow.

Watch movies and bake cookies…do puzzles and cut out snowflakes.

Enjoy every single second of it…there is nothing you hoped to accomplish on your list that will ever replace the gift of a snow day.

It will be the thing they remember most.

You too.

The gift of time and your presence.

Others we know have suddenly lost loved ones.

This close to Christmas and suddenly everything has changed.

For you I pray that the Lord will hold you tightly to Him as you adjust an already full schedule to work out the details.
