Happy Friday <3

We are pulling things together to head to the reunion.

But I wanted to pause and check in with you and also celebrate the milestone of another teenager entering the dynamics of life with the grands.

Our Emmett has officially added “teen” to the end of his years and we think he is going to be doing exceedingly well in this next season.

We took them to lunch yesterday for early birthday fun and will be watching for photos to come through from all the family celebration.

It worked out that we got take him to his baseball game and enjoyed watching his team play. The weather actually felt pleasantly warm and the wind decided to stop blowing us to pieces so it was a fun evening.

No eye black for this one.

They played a birthday song for him at the end of the game and his mom handed out cookies to the team. He had the biggest smile as he told her to never, ever do that again.

I hope he is showered with love the whole weekend long and that his smile continues to go right up into his eyes today and for the next 364 that follow.
