Happy Friday!

I told you Russ and I hung out a bit at a coffee shoppe yesterday, but saved a fun story from it for your Friday reading.

As we were coming in, there was a cute lady ahead of us. I am cautious this day to say “older” as sometimes I discover that I am older than the older person I am talking about. 

She was dressed so warmly and had a beautiful knit sweater on with intricate cables. I wondered if she had made it herself and told her I loved her sweater. She smiled and was excited to tell me it was from Ireland. She opened her coat so I could see the zipper with a classic silver Irish knot pull tab. 

I told her that Ireland is on my bucket list and now I really want to go so I can get a sweater!

She said it had been on her bucket list, too, for years. She then told me she and her husband finally fulfilled it last year….and she is 83. 

Her eyes were dancing as she told me we absolutely must go and the sooner the better. 

So much for thinking we may be aging out of this kind of travel! Ha! 

No excuses after chatting with this lovely soul.
