Just for fun for our Randoms today <3

Russ gave me an idea of a fun thing to do for Random Wednesday. We are always chuckling over something on social media. People can be clever and funny without being mean. Often we will share something we laughed about with each other and get a second round of joy.

He said maybe that would be a good way to pass our time on a Random Day so here we go. Some things that have currently had me laughing.

Recently I showed him a video that depicted a husband whose wife is easily startled.

We know a wife like that.

I am often deep in concentration over something and Russ will walk up and say something and I jump a mile high.

So in this video a young husband is shown announcing his presence outside the kitchen entry way. He calls out loudly that he is about to enter the room, he does live there and he is not an intruder.

In the next clip, he is banging a pan as he approached the living room area. He loudly announces that he is moving from the dining room into the living room and no one needs to be alarmed.

In the third, he enters a room stomping and introducing himself as her husband and that he is going to be coming near soon.

I laughed so hard.

Russ just nodded and took notes.

This one came yesterday to make us laugh:

I asked my husband if he preferred nice legs or nice arms.

He said, “I’d just prefer if you were nice to me.”

So now I have three things to work on.

This one was just nice.

Things that are still good:

A good stretch

Cold water on a hot day

Finding the right pen

Taking your shoes off after a long walk

Delicious food

Sliding into fresh sheets

Deep breath of fresh air

Sunlight landing perfectly on something

This one from @momsofbigs hit home

Motherhood is wild.

One minute you’re cutting crust off sandwiches.

The next you’re arguing with at teenager about why deodorant is not optional.

Then You’re texting a grown kid like, “Are you alive?”

Different stages.

Same chaos.

Still no manual.

Just vibes, caffeine, and the occasionally breakdown in the laundry room.

And last of all today…

If your parents didn’t use ‘galavanting’ did you really run through the streets?

from @starkliving.co

This last one brought up many a conversation with my dad when I was, indeed, galavanting thought the streets of our small town back in the day.

Have a good day.

Laugh much.

It’s good medicine!
