Just some fun things I have learned recently <3

Remember these fun earrings John sent me for my birthday? Well…I may have only posted on social media so if you don’t, maybe I didn’t put it on here.

He purchased these at an art fair while visiting a friend in Waco.

They are beautiful and crafted by a woman and her brother. He has Down syndrome and 15% of the profits go towards ministries and small businesses that create opportunities for young adults with special needs.

These are made of recycled glass and our John knows his mom well….both the point behind the purchase and the color and design. He credits his sisters with helping him.

Blessed am I and grateful for these three kiddos.

But…being glass, they were quite heavy and I have other dangly earrings that concern me so I did some research and found these…..

They are little stickers you put on the back of your ear and they work great!

And here is the other thing I learned this week.

I have been using my hand held juicer WRONG for years…

I was watching a cooking video and caught a glimpse at how they juiced lemons and limes.

I double checked with YouTube and sure enough…it’s official.

In case you have lived in ignorance, as have I….be enlightened…..

I just thought it nestled in there and it goes against my sense of order that you turn it upside down, but it works like a charm.

And if you knew this, I am sorry for the two minutes you will never get back.
