In this week between Christmas and New Year’s, there is a lingering. I am not ready to part with the lights and the tree, the greenery and all things Christmas. The pace has slowed and Russ and I can sit and relax. We are reading our new books and resting; finishing up leftovers and tidbits…
As I sit here in a somewhat picked up family room, it is good to be still and quiet. Another Christmas is past, but we will let the stockings hang for a while longer, eat some more from the tidbits of treats on the counter and slowly absorb gifts bestowed on us into the drawers…
