Dogless in Decatur <3

Well, I got home last night around 8 P.M. and I am still operating like we have Rocco with us.

But we don’t.

Because in the revolving door of our life, Sarah came home while I was away and picked him up.

So all that is left is the strange feeling that I need to be walking him or stepping around his big self because where he liked to hang out was always….

It sure doesn’t take long for a four-legged fur ball to find a place in your home and heart.

So today I am catching up on life here and gathering my thoughts and lists and such for the rest of the week.

In other words…trying to figure where to start and really … anywhere would be good.

So a quick thought from my readings in Psalms this morning and then we all better get on our way with the day!

The Chronological Bible I am reading lumps all the Psalms into categories and the current one is devoted to themes of rejoicing.

Which is very appropriate post-Easter reading to say the least.

I am finding so many promises as I read through, I just want to make a list of them somewhere and recite them throughout the day like the faith statements that they are.

Here is one that I loved so much this morning…

from Psalm 94

For the LORD will not reject His people; He will never forsake His inheritance. Judgment will again be founded on righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it. <3

We live in such a strange paradox world about judgment.

While it is popular to say no one has the right to “judge”…everyone is making judgments all the time.

And they are rarely based on righteousness.

Some of them may seem or actually BE right…but few are “righteous.”

However this promise is for God’s judgments that will be founded ON righteousness…and oh, I pray we would be upright in our hearts to recognize and follow His judgments.

Be blessed this Tuesday to walk with Him.

You are loved and covered in His righteousness if you are covered by His Son <3
