Going around in circles

Here is what jumped out at me from my time with the Lord today…..

Deuteronomy 2: 1-3 in my own words….

You have been going around and around and around this same mountain for many days. It’s time to move on.

I recognize that voice.

There’s a time to go around and around the mountain. It’s monotonous. It’s wearing. It can become a rut. But there is value to it. There are lessons learned as we circle and circle and circle the same obstacle in the wilderness.

But we have to be listening for the Voice and be ready to move on when His timing comes.

After meditating on this and entering a time of prayer this morning, I finished my quiet time with a final reading that led me to this beautiful song to sing as I have set my feet on the path away from the mountain and head north!

Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered;

Let also those who hate Him flee before Him.

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away;

As wax melts before fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God…..

Psalm 68:1-3  NKJV

Read the whole Psalm today. You will find Him marching in power through the wilderness. You will find Him leading you to His Holy Mountain! Ascribe to Him power and strength! Follow Him as He leads you from the wilderness into His Holy Presence! <3
