To persevere in building

I have been thinking about the contrast of how quickly things can be drastically altered and how long it takes to maintain stability …

A building can be brought down in minutes…..it can take years to build.

A reputation can be destroyed with a bad decision…it can take years to regain dignity.

A relationship can be devastated by one betrayal…it can take a life time to restore trust.

The heroics that draw applause are often just the grand finale of a daily adherence to steadfastly walking in integrity and honor.

Thanks, mom and dad….for living out a quiet and faithful love for our family….
