We interrupt your Black Friday shopping….
To bring you a few smiles….
1.My verse for our house is Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you do not know.” God woke me up one night when our kids were young at 3:33 A.M. I knew there was something significant about the time and I felt it was a Scripture for me.
I know…I’m odd, but I grow on you….
So I got up and prayed for direction as I headed to my Bible and I felt it was Jeremiah. I went right to Jeremiah 33:3 and found that verse. Wow! It spoke to me that night as I had gone to sleep asking God for discernment regarding some decisions.
Then I thought…wait…what if it was 3:33…turns out there isn’t a 3:33…I love God. And now that number pops up at the oddest times….like when I had the car serviced this week….
2. You may or may not know that little critters just llllloooooovvvvveeeeee us here at the Reimer’s. It is not mutual, but …..first snow of the year and look who came to play on the patio.
and God bless our friends who delight in finding things like this….
3. I made an advent wreath. I didn’t use pinterest. I thought it up myself. I know. Impressive, right? =0)
You too can make this or one similar. Everything came from Hobby Lobby. Decorative miniature clothespins, gift tag cards and thin roping (in ribbon area). I used the chalk boards and painted numbers, but they had other designs and you can also get decorative tags in the gift wrap area.
I wrote a simple activity on the back of each card – stuff that a 3 and 1 year old can do that won’t cause excessive work for Mommy and Daddy!!
Or make up your own idea for an advent wreath.
4. Well….last of all…
First Grandparent’s Day at preschool.
Yeah.
Best day ever <3
Now, get back to shopping!
